Changelog
Changelog: what we changed and what we withdrew
We publish changes to the product here, including things we removed because they were not true or did not work. Every entry is dated.
Changed
- The free trial lasts 10 days instead of 24 hours. The other terms stay the same: no card, 3 monitors, checks every 60 minutes.
Fixed
- AI summaries no longer fail when the answer is long; an incomplete answer is recovered instead of being dropped.
Added
- "Product facts" page: one place with the basic facts about the product, what it does not do and its limits.
- Pages on alternatives to other tools, a page explaining what website change monitoring is, and this changelog.
Changed
- Accounts: the email address must be confirmed before the first sign-in.
- Accounts: changing or resetting the password, turning two-factor authentication on or off, and signing out now end all older sessions.
- Accounts: deleting the account and creating an API key now ask for the account password.
- Accounts: limits on failed attempts now apply per account, not only per IP address.
- Accounts: two-factor "remember this device" now relies on a random identifier in a cookie; the setup QR code is generated on our server and no longer sent to an external service.
- Monitoring: the AI now receives what was removed and what was added, not just the beginning of the page, so changes far down a long document are seen.
- Monitoring: the first check of a new monitor only sets the reference version and is no longer counted as a change.
- Monitoring: at most one alert per hour for the same monitor; critical alerts are not held back.
- Monitoring: a page that answers with an anti-bot check is reported as an error. We do not bypass such protection.
- Monitoring: on SEO monitors, a single changed field (for example the title) now triggers an alert.
- Billing: changing plan is done in the Stripe customer portal, which modifies the existing subscription.
- Billing: White-Label reports are a paid add-on (40 EUR/month) for the Agency plan and are now enforced as such.
- Billing: monitors paused when a subscription expired restart after payment; history is kept for 30 days after expiry.
- Billing: API access is included from the Pro plan.
- Accessibility: text contrast raised across the site; icon-only buttons now have names for screen readers.
- The privacy and cookie policies were rewritten to describe what the application actually does.
Fixed
- Monitoring: check intervals are now the ones chosen (a 5-minute monitor was in practice checked every 10 minutes).
- Monitoring: the price reader no longer picks the struck-through old price, the monthly instalment, the delivery cost or the equivalent in another currency.
- Monitoring: CSS selectors now match real selectors; a selector that matches nothing is reported as an error instead of silently monitoring the whole page.
Added
- Monitoring: after three failed checks in a row you get one notice, and retries are spaced out.
- A 404 page in all 5 languages; the dashboard is available in all 5 languages; dashboard times are shown in your time zone.
Removed
- The "AdBlock detected" banner, which was shown to every visitor by mistake.
- The 24-hour countdown next to the trial and the "limited offer" label on annual prices. Annual prices are permanent.
- "Case studies" with result figures. They are now illustrative scenarios without figures, because we have no customer results to publish yet.
- Claims of visual (screenshot) monitoring and of detecting newly added pages. The product does not do these.
- Priced Enterprise options that did not exist (1-minute interval, guaranteed SLA, audit log, user tiers). Enterprise is discussed on request.
- The announced Black Friday 2026 price index. Large retailers block automated access and we do not bypass it; the page is now a guide.
- Unverified statements about other providers on the comparison pages. Their prices and features are now taken from their own sites, with the date checked.
Changed
- The crawler respects robots.txt.
- Alert channels are enforced by plan (Starter: email; Pro: plus webhook and Slack; Agency: plus Discord and Telegram).
Added
- Request limits on public forms and sign-in.
